We would like to inquire about the production of a Bridle Roll (Model 1664-100) used in a hot-dip galvanizing line (HDGL), for one of our biggest customer.

According to the drawings (1664-100-Model), the roll has the following specifications:

Heavy welded steel construction with inner shaft, ribs, and end covers

Main tube: Ø1050 mm × 1750 mm

Total weight: approx. 2.3 tons

Post-weld stress relief required

Dynamic balancing: max. imbalance 0.06 kg

Surface coating: tungsten carbide (12 % cobalt), layer thickness 0.07–0.1 mm

Surface roughness: Ra 1.5–2.5 before coating / Ra 5–8 after coating

Materials:

• C1530 – W. Nr 1.0530 / DIN C45

• C0361 – W. Nr 1.0037 / DIN St 37-2

We would appreciate it if you could confirm whether this type of roll is within your production range and, if so, provide a technical and commercial offer.
Please also indicate your standard delivery time and confirm whether tungsten carbide coating and dynamic balancing are included in your scope of supply.
